Position
Sr. Audit Manager

Summary
A highly respected Top 100 accounting and consulting firm in the Western U.S. is seeking an experienced Audit Manager. You will oversee multiple audit and review engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables, strong client relationships, and effective team leadership. Essential Duties​​​

• Manage all phases of audit and review engagements across multiple clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships and an in-depth understanding of their business operations and control systems.
• Keep engagement Directors or Partners informed of key developments; identify potential issues and provide proactive solutions.
• Schedule and coordinate engagements to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
• Develop, monitor, and manage engagement budgets; explain variances and identify change order opportunities.
• Review financial statements and all client deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead, supervise, train, and review the work of senior and staff accountants.
• Conduct staff evaluations, reviews, and provide mentorship and performance feedback.
• Contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives and client service excellence.

Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 18:00

Remote

• ​​​​​​​Candidates must reside in Los Angeles County or Orange County to accommodate occasional on-site client visits.
   

Salary/Benefit
$90K - 135K DOE

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
• Active and valid CPA license
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Japanese bilingual preferred, but not required
