Position
Maintenance Technician – (Temp to Hire)

Summary
A distributor of machinery and provider of installation services for the automotive industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Georgetown, KY. 

Essential Duties

• Fabricate sheet metal products, components, and equipment in the facility

• Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as assigned

• Assist in installation and integration of new equipment

• Prepare for fabrication and assembly using work orders and blueprints

• Operate machines and hand tools to cut and form materials

• Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and other metalwork operations

• Fabricate and maintain metal structures including ducts, machine guards, conveyors, paint booths, ovens, tanks, ladders, and brackets

• Dismantle, move, and repair customer equipment onsite

• Load/unload parts or components onto assembly lines, machines, and trucks

• Coordinate work with supervisors, project teams, customers, coworkers, and contractors

• Ensure high quality of finished products and minimize rework or modifications

• Maintain clean and organized work areas per 5S standards

Working Location
Georgetown, Kentucky

Salary/Benefit
$25 - 30/hr
Temp to Hire

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing machines: welding, plasma cutters, saws, press brake, etc.

• Proficiency in reading product blueprints and assembling fabricated equipment

• Ability to lead small groups during installation projects

• Troubleshooting skills for product failures and ability to make repairs/modifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures in a shop setting
