• Accounting Assistant Manager

Summary
A leading logistics provider based in Winchester KY, is seeking a Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager. This role will be responsible for managing financial operations, liaising with their Japanese headquarters, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. This will be a temp (3 months) to direct hire position. 

Essential Duties

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks
• Coordinate financial reporting between U.S. and Japanese offices
• Support M&A activities and financial due diligence
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Working Hours, Working style

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-site work at Winchester, KY location

Salary/Benefit

• Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, DOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or related industries
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience with international accounting practices preferred
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and food logistics a plus
