Position
Accounting Supervisor

Summary
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the management of the accounting team and supports the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of various high-level accounting functions for the company.

Essential Duties
・Data Entry
・Financial Processing
　a. Supervise all accounts receivable and accounts payables.
　b. Responsible for inter-company transactions.
・Financial Reporting
   a. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing for Division Companies
   b. Assist with various internal/external audits.
・Financial Analysis
   a. Maintain and analyze various general ledger accounts for Division Companies.
・Compliance
   a. Regulatory compliance - Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
   b. Accounting compliance - Understand and comply with accounting compliance procedures.
・Leadership
   a. Team Leadership - Manages and leads team of accountants to run operations smoothly. Responsible for effectively communicating tasks as well as reporting efficiently to
Controller.
   b. Collaboration - Work with upper management, government and third-party entities through job
functions and responsibilities.
・Technology
   a. Development - Assist for the development and integration of technologies to be used by the
accounting department.
・Ad hoc or other duties assigned.

Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree (Accounting)
・At least 3 years experience in Accounting
・2 - 3 years in supervisory skill
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Strong Excel skills required.
・Detail-oriented mindset.
・Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
・Ability to work in a small team environment.
・Experience in multi-cultural environment preferred.
・Team management skills.
・Hold strong financial acumen, including GAAP.
・JLPT - N2 Equivalent (Business) Level preferred.
・CPA qualification preferred.
