Japanese Interpreter

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter to support effective communication within our organization. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation during meetings, translate documents, and assist Japanese expatriates with their daily needs.

Essential Duties:
Meeting Interpretation: Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for internal and external meetings, covering a variety of technical and business-related topics.
Document Translation: Translate emails, presentations, reports, and other technical documents between Japanese and English with accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
Expatriate Support: Assist Japanese expatriates with daily life needs, such as accommodation arrangements, medical referrals, and local area information.
Manufacturing Communication Support: Act as a communication bridge between Japanese management and local employees on the production floor, ensuring clarity in instructions, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, note-taking, and coordination for bilingual meetings and training sessions as needed.

Working Hours & Working Style:

• Standard business hours (Minimal to no overtime required)
• On-site position at the Rome, GA facility

Working Location:

• Rome, GA

Salary & Benefits:

• 52k-58k

Qualifications:

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Japanese and English, with native-level proficiency or equivalent in both languages.
