Japanese Bilingual Outside Sales Representative – Entry Level

Summary
We are seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Entry-Level Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about working in the machinery and logistics industries, and who are eager to apply their bilingual communication skills in a client-facing role. Candidates with a background in mechanical engineering or a related technical field are especially encouraged to apply. 

Essential Duties

• Visit Japanese and local clients to assess their needs in machinery transportation, equipment installation, and automotive import/export

• Propose solutions and services tailored to client requirements

• Act as a liaison between clients and internal operations teams

• Create quotations, support in contract preparation, and manage related documentation

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular visits and communication

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed

• Report sales activity and market insights to the management team

Working Hours, Working Style

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Field-based position with frequent travel within the assigned region

• Independent, client-facing role with internal coordination and team support

Working Location

• Primary sales territories: Illinois (IL), Kentucky (KY), Michigan (MI), Indiana (IN), South Carolina (SC)

• Office base or home office to be determined based on candidate's location

• Company vehicle provided for business travel

Salary/Benefit

• Annual salary: $35,000 – $50,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Qualifications

• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

• Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred

• Valid driver's license

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
