Summary

This contract-based role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of the architecture and design sector and a passion for building strong professional relationships.

The successful candidate will utilize their industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities, foster meaningful partnerships, and help expand the firm’s market presence. This role is best suited for a proactive, self-driven professional with a proven ability to connect with key stakeholders and generate project leads.


Essential Duties (Subject to Change)

  • ​​​​​​​Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to support long-term growth
  • Promote the firm’s services through outreach efforts and participation in virtual and in-person meetings
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential leads
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals
  • Provide consistent updates and reporting on sales activities and pipeline progress

Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday; approximately 7 hours per day
  • Hybrid remote
  • Domestic travel required as needed

Working Location
South Bay Area, CA

Salary/Benefit
$70K - 100K DOE

Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, and major US holidays
  • Based on project needs and contract terms

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, partnership cultivation, or a related role within the architecture or design industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Business-level proficiency in English; Japanese language proficiency is a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
