Position
Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role ensures the efficient flow of goods and works cross-functionally with various departments to enhance logistics performance and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties

• Resolve issues related to transportation, logistics systems, import/export procedures, and customer service.

• Collaborate with other departments to align logistics systems with broader business operations.

• Partner with the sales team to provide customers with accurate shipping estimates.

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation coordination, warehouse operations, and quality control.

• Record and track incoming shipments upon product receipt.

• Package and prepare products for outbound shipments to customers.

• Maintain adequate inventory of shipping supplies and research cost-effective alternatives.

• Identify and implement methods to reduce overall shipping expenses.

• Develop and implement procedures for handling lost or damaged shipments to safeguard company interests.

• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Salary/Benefit
$16–$21 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications
Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is preferred but not required
