Position
[Temp] Assistant HR/General Administrator

Summary
A Japanese logistics company is seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant HR/General Administrator to support HR and administrative functions. This is a temporary position with the potential for direct hire based on performance.

Essential Duties

• Assist with attendance management and payroll processing.
• Plan, execute, and manage recruitment activities.
• Liaise with insurance companies and manage related tasks.
• Coordinate and manage temporary staff arrangements.
• Verify headcount and maintain updated organizational charts.
• Organize and facilitate employee training sessions.
• Handle government-related procedures and communications.
• Manage the overall administrative operations of the company.
• Oversee office equipment, supplies management, and procurement.
• Implement health and safety management and risk management practices.
• Develop, update, and manage internal documents and regulations.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed.
• Receive guidance from the supervisor on HR and administrative tasks.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Working Hours, Working style
Monday -  Friday; 8:00-17:00

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​Associate degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Must be able to commute to Carson daily.
• Business-level fluency in English; some proficiency in Japanese preferred.
