International Freight & Plant Engineer

Summary
​​​​​​​This role is responsible for handling specialized cargo and overseeing the installation of machinery. The position involves coordinating the transportation of oversized, heavy, and high-value freight while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, it includes supervising the setup, alignment, and commissioning of industrial equipment at client sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, logistics coordination skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.​​​​​​​

Essential Duties ​​​​​​​

• Specialized Cargo Handling Support

  • Assist in coordinating the transportation of oversized, heavy, or high-value freight while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Support loading, unloading, and securing cargo under supervision.
  • Communicate with team members and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.

• Machinery Installation Assistance

  • Participate in the setup, alignment, and installation of industrial machinery at client sites.
  • Follow instructions to properly handle and position equipment using appropriate tools.
  • Perform basic inspections to ensure installations meet required specifications.

• Safety & Compliance Awareness

  • Follow established safety protocols during cargo handling and machinery installation.
  • Learn and adhere to local, national, and international transport and workplace safety regulations.
  • Participate in risk assessments and safety training sessions.
