Position

• Account Representative (Quality Assurance Specialist)

Summary

• An automotive parts trading company based out of Winchester KY is seeking a dedicated Account Representative with a focus on Quality Assurance to join their team. This role will serve as a crucial link between their suppliers and customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met and maintained. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, with a strong background in engineering or a related field.

Quality

• Receive PPAP drafts from suppliers, create PPAPs and submit to customers in a timely manner. This includes projects meeting with Sales team at least once per month.
• Monitor PPAP status and take necessary actions.
• Review existing processes to improve and avoid any quality issue in the future.
• Improve internal processes by coordination with other departments.
• Monitor all types of corrective actions to ensure timely completion and verification.
• Discuss with Management when any abnormality emerges.
• Request, confirm and file SOC evidence.
• Manage quality documents based on QMS.
• Create quality related reports and submit to Quality Manager in timely manner.

Client Contacts

• Answer questions, resolve issues related to unconfirming parts for customers.
• Conduct a good customer service to both suppliers and customers.
• Respond to CAR/Notification from assigned customers.
• Support and assist co-workers to perform their assigned duties effectively and accurately.
• Visit clients to assure product quality and acquire quality related information and report this information to Quality supervisor and/or manager

Other

• Monitor both service and products from suppliers.
• Acquire IMDS data from suppliers and forward it into headquarters for registration.
• Perform internal audit when required.
• Perform calibrations when needed.
• Have a regular meeting with Sales team to share any potential issue.
• Support and assist co-workers to perform their assigned duties effectively and accurately.
• Other assigned task by Quality Supervisor/ Manager.

Working Hours, Working style

• Full-time
• Primarily office-based work with minimal travel required

Salary/Benefits

• Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English required
• Entry-level candidates will be considered

• Commitment to long-term professional growth (5-10 years)
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards is a plus
