Position
Japanese Interpreter

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter to support effective communication within our organization. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation during meetings, translate documents, and assist Japanese expatriates with their daily needs. This role is crucial in facilitating smooth cross-cultural communication within our Japanese automotive parts manufacturing company.

Essential Duties

• Meeting Interpretation: Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for internal and external meetings, covering a variety of technical and business-related topics.
• Document Translation: Translate emails, presentations, reports, and other technical documents between Japanese and English with accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Expatriate Support: Assist Japanese expatriates with daily life needs, such as accommodation arrangements, medical referrals, and local area information.
• Manufacturing Communication Support: Act as a communication bridge between Japanese management and local employees on the production floor, ensuring clarity in instructions, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
• Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, note-taking, and coordination for bilingual meetings and training sessions as needed.

Working Hours, Working Style

• Full-time position, with flexibility to accommodate meeting schedules and operational needs.
• Remote work is not available—this is an on-site position.

Salary/Benefit

• Salary: $45,000 to $58,000 per year.

Qualifications
