Position:
Maintenance Technician

Summary:
A leading manufacturer of automotive components and industrial products, is seeking a skilled and adaptable Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn, and possess the patience to work with older machinery that requires frequent adjustments.

Essential Duties:

• Perform general maintenance on various manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain older machines that require frequent tweaking
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Assist in the maintenance of automotive component production lines
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and maintenance techniques

Working Hours, Working style:
0800-1700 Mon-Fri 
Full-time position with potential for overtime as needed

Working Location:
Sonora KY

Salary/Benefit:
- Salary range: $16-$20/hr DOE

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on mechanical experience required
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: welding, electrical, plumbing, or hydraulics
- Basic knowledge of PLCs preferred
- Automotive technician experience is acceptable
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Patience and persistence when working with older machinery
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (no mileage reimbursement provided)
