Summary
A Japanese accounting firm is looking for an Experienced Audit Associate.

Essential Duties
・Lead Audit Engagements: Oversee and manage audit assignments, including planning and execution.
・Review Financial Statements: Analyze and verify the accuracy of financial statements and records.
・Evaluate Internal Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
・Prepare Reports: Create detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
・Communicate with Clients: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
・Ensure Compliance: Verify adherence to auditing standards, regulations, and company policies.
・Stay Informed: Keep updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards.

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

Qualifications
– BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university and eligible to sit for the CPA exam
– Certain knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing and review procedures
– Ability to meet challenges and exceed client requirements and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills
– Team player
– Ability and willingness to travel
– Ability to read/write/communicate in Japanese is preferred, but not required
