Position

Japanese Bilingual Customer Service/Operations

Essential Duties

• Provide customer service support, primarily in Japanese.
• Perform moving-related tasks, including packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading.
• Operate, drive, and maintain company vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Assist with office duties, including import/export and relocation-related tasks.
• Prepare moving estimates and conduct sales activities targeting Japan-based corporate clients.
• Attend moving jobs at customer sites and communicate with clients for planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, adapting to changes as directed by management.

Working Hours, Working Style

• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour unpaid lunch break per day.
• Overtime eligible (non-exempt position).

Salary/Benefit

• Annual salary: Based on experience, paid semi-monthly on the 15th and last day of the month.
• Eligible for health, dental, life insurance, disability benefits, and 401(k) plan (after one year of service).
• Vacation, paid sick time, and holidays accrued as per company policy.
• Introductory period: 60 days, during which holiday pay is not applicable.
• Bonuses typically issued in December and, if applicable, during summer.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Japanese language skills (daily conversation level) preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on interpersonal and organizational skills.
