【Position】
  HR Manager

【Summary】
  We are seeking a bilingual Japanese-English HR Manager at a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley!        Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in human resources.
  Experience in the technology or venture capital industries is highly preferred.

【Essential Duties】

  Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

• You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, making offers, and facilitating onboarding. Ensure a smooth process throughout.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Create an environment that draws a diverse and compelling pool of candidates.

  Employee Relations and Engagement:

• Act as a trusted advisor by supporting employees and managers with their challenges and concerns.
• Plan and execute events and programs that foster positive workplace relationships and enhance employee engagement and motivation.

  Performance Management and Development:

• Assist in goal setting and performance reviews, providing opportunities for employee growth.
• Identify training and development opportunities to support career growth and leadership development for employees.

  Compensation and Benefits:

• Manage and improve competitive compensation and benefits programs to ensure employees can work confidently.
• Align benefits systems with legal compliance while catering to employee needs.

  Compliance and Policy:

• Develop and update internal policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Review HR systems and records management to support efficient and transparent operations.

  Culture and Employer Branding:

• Embody company values and culture while leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Promote the company's strengths in local and global talent markets to enhance visibility and appeal.

【Working Hours, Working style】
  Monday ~ Friday: 9:00am ~ 6:00pm
  ** Four days a week in the office, with remote work on Wednesdays**

  $80-150K

【Qualifications】

  Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the technology or venture capital industries.

  Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP are highly valued.

  Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of HR best practices and California employment laws.

  Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal communication and coordination skills. Flexibility to ensure seamless collaboration both internally and externally.

  Attributes:

• High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Enthusiastic about creating an environment that fosters employee growth.

  Bilingual:

• Proficiency in both Japanese and English is highly desirable, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, both in writing and conversation.
