Japanese-Bilingual System Engineer

Summary
A leading Japanese IT company is seeking a talented and bilingual System Engineer to join their team in Torrance, CA. In this role, you will handle systems engineering, troubleshooting, system administration, technical support, and systems design. The position offers a hybrid remote work style and requires fluency in Japanese (spoken and written).

Essential Duties (Unofficial)

• Systems Engineering and Design:
  Design, implement, and manage system solutions to meet business needs, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• System Administration:
  Administer and maintain Windows Server/Client operating systems, virtual infrastructure, and M365 environments
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
  Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex system issues promptly. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Network and Security Management:
  Monitor, manage, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures and compliance.
• Azure and Cloud Services:
  Configure, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services, supporting hybrid cloud strategies.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing bilingual support (Japanese and English) to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, reports, and best practices for system management and operations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay updated with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for improving systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and system administration skills.
• Experience in technical support with problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in the following:
  • Network infrastructure and security
  • Windows Server/Client operating systems
  • Virtual infrastructures
  • MS365 Networking and Azure cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
