Job Description

【Summary】
The Account Executive or Account Manager interfaces with an assigned list of accounts involving the Company’s portfolio of products. This role is responsible for customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and account retention.

【Essential Duties (Not Official)】

• Manage client relationships effectively.
• Develop and execute proactive client insurance program strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services.
• Ensure compliance and manage renewals, marketing (RFP), reporting, and analytics with minimal guidance.
• Lead client meetings and presentations, either independently or in collaboration with Client Executives or colleagues.
• Handle special projects, including client presentations, functions, and meetings.
• Act as a liaison between carriers, vendors, and clients to communicate accurate program details.
• Coordinate with Customer Service teams and Account Representatives on issuing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other necessary documents.
• Prepare summaries, proposals, and renewals in line with company procedures.
• Review policies, verify audits, calculate premiums, and establish payment methods in a timely manner.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and identify opportunities to enhance client revenue.
• Recommend actions to improve client service proactively.
• Keep accurate records of client data and policy information in the AMS360 system.
• Develop methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of clients' insurance programs.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information, including pricing, growth projections, and market share.

Non-Essential Duties

• Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned by senior management.
• Ensure follow-up on all assigned work.
• Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Report irregular issues to management for resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with office staff and external contacts.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in the Company’s Safety Program to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Flexible hybrid work style (primarily remote, but in-office attendance required as needed)

Account Executive: $110-135K (Exempt)
Account Manager: $72-92K (Exempt)

【Qualifications】

• P&C License holder
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance field for Account Executive
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance field for Account Manager
• Experience in corporate insurance (not personal insurance)
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
• Preference given to bilingual candidates (Japanese and English) or an understanding of Japanese culture
• Willingness to travel required
