Position
Warehouse Staff

Summary
A Japanese logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Staff member to support its logistics operations. This role involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable but not required.

Essential Duties

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and condition.
• Pick, pack, and label goods for outbound shipments according to client and company standards.
• Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
• Assist in preparing shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing lists.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarding teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following safety protocols.
• Support other warehouse operations as needed.

Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 18:00 (OT may be required)
On-Site (in an office setting with occasional time in the warehouse or outdoors.)

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​​High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are necessary.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with freight forwarding or logistics documentation is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
