【Position】    
Sales 

【Summary】
A Japanese manufacturer of plumbing components is currently searching for a Sales Manager with established sales route connections in the stainless tube fitting industry. This role allows you to work remotely from your home while visiting clients across the United States. 

Upon joining the company, you will undergo a comprehensive two-week training program at their Japan headquarters.

【Essential Duties (not official)】

1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a primary focus on the oil refinery industry.

2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.

3. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

4. Sales Route Management: Utilize your established sales route connections in the stainless tube fitting industry to expand our market presence.

5. Travel: Conduct regular client visits across the United States to nurture relationships, understand client needs, and drive sales.

6. Training Program: Undergo a comprehensive two-week training program at our Japan headquarters to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, processes, and company culture.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

8. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

M-F 8 hours a day

【Qualifications】

1. Previous experience with a company manufacturing a wide range of piping components, including piping modules, valves, fittings, filters, regulators, flow switches and meters, temperature/pressure switches and sensors, as well as other devices for various industries such as chemical plants, semiconductor devices, and general industrial markets in the US and/or worldwide.
2. Strong background in sales and/or service management.
3. Proficiency in understanding product specifications, features, technical characteristics, differentiators, and unique selling points for related products, once explained.
4. Ability to create a strategic action plan to penetrate segmented markets effectively.
5. Knowledge of the entry procedures for selecting target customers and engaging with decision-makers.
6. Capability to establish an effective sales organization during the initial stages of market expansion.
