• Maintenance Technician

Summary

• A company that manufactures automotive suspension parts is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team at their manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Kentucky. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency. This position requires not only hands-on mechanical skills but also the ability to connect to PCs for diagnostics, analysis, reprogramming, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards, as well as proficiency in using computer-based diagnostic tools.

Essential Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on production equipment.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become problematic.
• Collaborate with production staff to understand machinery issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment history.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Connect to PCs for diagnostics, analysis, reprogramming, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery.
• Utilize computer-based tools for advanced diagnostics and problem-solving in both mechanical and electronic systems.

Working Hours, Working style

• 0700-1530
• Lebanon, Kentucky.

Salary/Benefit

• $18-25/hr DOE

Qualifications​

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to comply with all safety and operational guidelines.
