Ocean Import Coordinator

Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer with expertise in ocean import processes, specifically requiring experience with CargoWise. 

Essential Duties
◆ Ocean Import Customs Clearance: 
- Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation specifically for ocean import shipments. 
- Ensure compliance with ocean import regulations and stay updated on any changes in customs procedures. 
- Utilize CargoWise to streamline and enhance customs entry processes. 

◆ Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries related to ocean import customs processes. 
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and customs authorities, ensuring a smooth and transparent communication channel. 

◆ Shipping Status Updates:
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets and CargoWise to maintain and update shipping records for ocean import shipments. 
- Monitor and communicate real-time updates on the status of ocean shipments to internal teams and clients. 

◆ Billing:
- Generate and process billing documents specific to ocean import customs duties, fees, and related charges. 
- Collaborate closely with the finance department to reconcile billing information and address any discrepancies.
