【Position】
 Associate Project Manager

【Summary】
SC Automotive Engineering USA (SCAE US) is an Engineering Solutions Provider (ESP) for the Mobility Industry. We are looking to add a smart and eager-to-contribute individual for an Associate Project Manager role to help accelerate the already growing business operations at SCAEUS.

【Essential Duties】
1) Proactively support, manage, and lead the successful commercial and technical activities to
make an engineering project successful.
2) Lead and perform the delivery of several tasks during the execution of the customer
projects – beginning with Field Operation Testing (FOT) project management.
3) Learn new engineering concepts, equipment, software tools for successful delivery.
4) Create written reports (MS Word/Powerpoint/MS Project) for the project status and new
proposals.
5) Communicate with customers (both in the US and Japan) with the support from the
supervisor and team.
6) Propose proactively in engineering projects towards expansion of the business.

【Working Hours, Working style】
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Office setting must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of
time, ability to walk and stand, travel as needed.

【Working Location】
 - Novi, MI (main office); This is an in-office role
- At external project sites in the US, during project period
 Customer site in CA – regular travel expected in 2024 to support
customer project (~50% of time will be spend in CA in 2024 to oversee
project work)
- Post-2024 business travel expected in the US
 Primarily local day-trips
 Overnight trips: 3-4 days per trip / 1-3 trips per month

【Salary, Benefit】
 Annual Base Salary = $95,000
Annual Target Bonus = 10%
Paid Time Off = 10 vacation days + 8 occasional days + 14 holidays (anticipated)

【Qualifications】
 (a) 4+ years of professional engineering experience. Very strong foundational engineering
skills.
a. Must Have:
1 Bilingual - Fluency in both English and Japanese
2 Vehicle Validation Experience – ADAS, Quality and Reliability Testing,
Prototype vehicle testing, Field Validation, Product launch, Prototype build etc.
3 Proven successful technical leadership and delivery of vehicle
programs/product and validation testing.
4 The ability to think strategically and create proposals/solutions to address
customer pain points.
b. Nice to Have:
1 Additional engineering experience in one or more: Software Defined Vehicle
(SDV), Quality and Reliability Engineering, Supplier Quality
2 Knowledge of Automotive prototype builds, manufacturing processes, new
technologies and trends in the Autonomous space.
3 OEM and Tier1 experience

(d) IT skills (MS power point, MS Words, spreadsheets, MS Project etc.)

(g) Professional Certifications, PMP desired, but not required

EDUCATION
(a) Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
a. Mechanical, Automotive Systems, Electrical, Computer Science, Software
(b) Master’s Degree and/or MBA (Nice to have)
