Senior Cost Analyst (CADIOS Expert)

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to become the CADIOS Subject Matter Expert and help optimize cost management processes across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with the Japan team to effectively utilize CADIOS, investigate material transactions and variances, manage fixed asset inventory, and support ROI analysis for new projects. Fluency in Japanese is essential to communicate and collaborate with the Japan-based team. You will also contribute to the annual budgeting process, ensuring that labor and other costs are effectively planned.

Essential Duties

• CADIOS Expertise: Become the go-to expert for CADIOS, maximizing its usage to analyze and manage production costs.
• Monthly Variance Analysis: Investigate monthly material transactions and variances within CADIOS to identify cost drivers and recommend improvements.
• Fixed Asset Management: Lead and manage fixed asset inventory planning and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• ROI Analysis: Assist departments in conducting ROI analysis for new projects and verify results upon project completion.
• Budgeting: Participate in the annual budgeting process, including the development and management of labor and other costs.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment in cost planning and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience:
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting and Cost Management.
  • Experience with SAP S4 HANA is required.
  • Fluency in Japanese is essential for effective collaboration with the Japan team.
• Certifications: CPA certification is required.
• Skills:
  • Strong experience in cost accounting and cost management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and lead cost management initiatives.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
