• Recognition of potential hazards and how to work safely.
• What PPE is required / available and ensure that it is worn properly.
• Guarding, as appropriate, is in place and maintained in good condition.

Understand the purpose of the 5S System at company, and how it relates to the Mold Shop Technicians Position, and ensure that they have been trained on the systems and preforms to the intention and/or requirements of the systems including:
• Area and equipment are clean and organized throughout shift.
• Eliminating reason for material, parts and runners being on the equipment or floor
• Standardize all cleaning and process improvement processes.
• Maintain a culture of continuous improvement with all of your team members.

Understand the purpose of the Power Failure Recovery Systems at the company, and how it relates to the Mold Shop Technicians Position, and ensure that they have been trained on the systems and preforms to the intention and/or requirements of the systems including:
• Inspection Tag requirements
• Equipment restarting
• Machine restarting

Understand the purpose of the Administrative Systems at the company, and how it relates to the Mold Shop Technicians Position, and ensure that they have been trained on the systems and preforms to the intention and/or requirements of the systems including:
