【Position】
Communications Designer

【Summary】
 A company providing software and services is hiring an English/Japanese bilingual Communications Designer.
The primary arrangement is remote work, but depending on work requirements, you will be expected to come to the office as needed. This option is available for those who reside within a commutable distance to the office. 

【Essential Duties】
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning site promotions to acquire new customers for our educational services, primarily focusing on our official website. This role involves overseeing the design of the website, as well as the UI/UX of the actual products. In the execution of your duties, you will collaborate with marketing specialists, web directors, and engineers to design and improve mechanisms that effectively communicate the charm and value of our services to customers, ultimately contributing to increased sales and customer acquisition.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Conducting competitor and market research for issue analysis
- Conceptualizing services and feature designs, user experience designs, and specification considerations
- Designing usage flows, screen transitions, information architecture, GUI creation, design guideline development, and interaction design
- Prototyping and conducting usability tests
- Information architecture and design of the website
- Managing and operating social media accounts

8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (flexible)

【Salary, Benefit】
$60-100/hr DOE

【Qualifications】
■ Mandatory Requirements:
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Individuals with education in the United States are preferred
- Web design experience in a business or production company (websites, landing pages, etc.)
  - Submission of portfolio is mandatory
- Experience in design planning based on brand concepts
- Experience in proposal of visual designs localized for the U.S. market
- Experience in designing user flow
- Practical experience in conducting competitor and market research, with practical experience in design proposals and presentations
- Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.

■ Preferred Requirements:
- UI/UX design experience
- Social media management experience (SNS operation)
- Practical experience in web coding (html/css, JavaScript)
- Prototyping experience using prototyping tools
- Experience in designing printed materials
- Design and implementation experience in qualitative research, such as user interviews
- Project management and outsourcing direction experience
- Knowledge and experience related to educational business
