Server Engineer

Summary
A company specializing in IT solutions (located in Torrance, CA) is currently seeking a Server Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in meeting clients' unique needs by analyzing market trends, demands, and potential client requirements. Leveraging a deep understanding of available Internet-related products, services, and technologies, you will design and implement tailored solutions. Your responsibilities will include technical consultation, project management for both pre-sales and post-sales phases, and ensuring the timely delivery and completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes potential client’s needs, market trends & demands. Creates made-to-order
  services and products for clients with utilizing available Internet related Products,
  Services and Technologies.
• Implement and upgrade existing and new services & solutions.
• Technical Consultation for customers.
• Technical Project Management for pre-sales and post-sales.
• Control projects, vendors and sub-contractors for delivery and completion of
  projects on time.
• Provide installation, analysis and other field services at site.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Network/Server/IT related systems.
• Customer support for high technical level issue.
• Troubleshooting of high technical level issue for 24 hours x 7days on-call duty (Not
  full shift duty).
• Manages existing accounts for all technical issues.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and other prominent software vendor products.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and other leading network vendor devices.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows server operation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with security software and solutions for servers and PCs.
• Understanding of Local and Wide Area Network technologies.
• Expertise in virtualization and storage technologies.
• Ability and commitment to staying updated with the latest standards of the mentioned technologies to deliver appropriate IT solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Willingness to visit clients and work on-site as required.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (business level).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
