A Japanese Insurance broker is looking for a Personal Line Account Representative/Assistant. The essential duties are below. ・Duties consist of all aspects of daily operation, including but not limited to preparing ACORD applications, quotes, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, endorsement requests, policy checks, filing, downloading policies, and data entry. ・Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed. ・Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. ・Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.

【Position】

Personal Line Account Representative

【Essential Duties 】

・Duties consist of all aspects of daily operation, including but not limited to preparing ACORD applications, quotes, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, endorsement requests, policy checks, filing, downloading policies, and data entry.

【Working Hours, Working style】

9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday

【Working Location】

Manhattan, NY
Torrance, CA

【Salary, Benefit】

$50,000-65,000
Insurance（Medical, Dental and Vision）, Paid Vacation Days & Sick Leave, 401K

【Qualifications】

<Requirements>
・Strong communication skills are required for daily interaction with insurance companies and clients.
・Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication in Japanese and English.
・Must be detail-oriented.
・Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the aptitude to learn new systems.
・Familiarity with the Applied TAM system and/or AMS 360 is a plus.
・1 or 2 years of experience working in personal lines insurance such as auto, homeowners, personal umbrella OR who are interested in the insurance industry and would like to work in a professional office environment utilizing English/Japanese Bilingual (with emphasis on Japanese solid language capabilities.)

<Preferences>
・NY Department of Insurance Property & Casualty License prior to applying for this position.
・Must be available to work in site or hybrid from Monday to Friday.
