【Position】
Logistics Coordinator

【Summary】
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for completing all day-to-day shipment activities for assigned customers.
This position will be responsible for ensuring that customers’ shipments are processed and delivered in an accurate, timely manner.
The Logistics Coordinator will work with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager to develop and maintain excellent customer service for assigned clients.  

【Essential Duties】
  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
❑         Prepare accurate, timely file shipping documentation (Domestic & Import &  
Export including AES Filing using Meiko system)
❑         Coordination of shipments with the importer / customer.  
❑         Data entry including data to US Customs and other government agencies.
❑         Document processing and checking. 
❑         Monitoring shipments.
❑         Truck / Drayage arrangements with vendors.
❑         Approve vendor invoices and process for payment.
❑         Generate invoice to customers.
❑         Audit and maintain files.
❑         Ensure the accuracy of all documents.

【Qualifications】
❑            Position requires good people skills, communication skills, organizational skills,
Education and/or Experience
❑            Experience working in Freight Forwarding Industry is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
❑            None.
Language Skills
❑            Position requires proficiency in written and spoken English in order to communicate with customers, employees and outside agencies; compose reports; complete forms, etc..
Mathematical Skills
❑            Basic arithmetic is required.
Reasoning Ability
❑            Basic ability (Deductive Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Critical Thinking) to solve day to day problems and communicate effectively are required.
