【Position】
Senior Accountant

【Summary】
The US subsidiary of a Japanese manufacturer of high-performance lubricating grease requires a Senior Accountant. The company is the leading manufacturer in Japan for high end products as well as providing high quality control. This position will initially report to the Manager of Administration with projected development for promotion to report to the President.

【Essential Duties】
➢ Accounts Payable
➢ Accounts Receivable
➢ General Ledger
➢ Financial Reporting
➢ Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
➢ Assist and support external auditors on year-end audit and taxes
➢ Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by management
➢ Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvement
➢ Assist in hiring needed support staff
➢ Train and develop staff by managing performance, setting goals and provide ongoing training

【Qualifications】
➢ 5+ years of accounting experience with portion of it being in a supervisory role
➢ Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
➢ Strong leadership skills driven to achieve results
➢ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
➢ Experience in financial systems
