• Pursue new business opportunities to increase the company's overall sales by conducting sales and account management activities and securing sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
• Develop agreed upon sales targets and goals with management.
• Manage all aspects of sales activities from start to finish, including purchase follow up.
• Sourcing new sales opportunities through phone calls, emails, web understanding products, business trips, customer needs and requirements.
• Research and conduct marketing strategies to grow business opportunities and increase visibility.
• Thoroughly understand and research the product and be able to convey to customers the company’s product offerings and technical services.
• Thoroughly research market, competitor, and industry trends
• Maintain monthly sales projections
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
• Negotiate with clients based on the client’s needs
• Travel to client sites for sales meetings and negotiations.
• Communicate with headquarters as needed for information on products, purchase orders and logistics.
• Attend and prepare for meetings, presentations, seminars, and trade shows to grow a larger presence and for leads.
• Attend professional training and educational workshops to enhance professional development.
• Communicate internally and keep supervisors and sales team up to date on sales activities
• Make appointments for a one on one meeting with clients and conduct marketing
• Inventory control, retrieve forecasts from customers and work with warehouses / suppliers.
• Communicate with associated departments for estimates and work orders.
• Process and prepare purchase orders and technical documents and ensure accuracy.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management and clients.
• Periodic report required (daily, weekly, monthly basis).
• Attending internal sales and other department meetings. Prepare documents as needed for meetings and management.
• Other duties as requested by management.
