Position
DRP Planner

Essential Duties

Position Summary
The DRP Planner is responsible for supporting inventory resource planning and replenishment control activities for the manufacturing plants and sales/distribution branches. Inventory analysis and forecasting are the major functions required to perform this job successfully.

Responsibilities

·Maintains parameters for Branch Item Master table to automate the procurement which includes Planning Policy, Acquisition Code, Forecasting Method, Primary Supplier, OPV, Safety Stock, etc.
·Maintains demand and procurement orders for each Acquisition Code Item which includes sales forecast review, BRT review for Distribution Order, BOM review for Manufacturing Order, periodical order release, open order reviews, etc.
·Follows up on negative inventories for each branch utilizing customized SQL/Macro enabled reports.
·Follows up on Excess/Aged inventories for each branch utilizing customized SQL/Macro enabled reports.
·Extracts mass data through SQL/Macro enabled reports with the proper understanding of each data table in ERP and uploads mass data through API for above parameter, demand, and order maintenance.
·Follows up on any other inventory related issues at each Branch.
·Daily processes would include IRF processing, daily forecast/safety stock maintenance and daily negative or excess inventory or excess inventory follow-up.
·Weekly processes include distribution of order maintenance and manufacturing order maintenance.
·Responsible for monthly forecast mass upload and adjustments.
·Conduct periodic review of BOM for proper costing and demand flow to the components; Branch Item Master parameter mass review for optimized procurement automation and Time-Phased-Safety-Stock review and maintenance.
·Conduct specific product line review for each branch for parameter changes.
·Maintains freight factor for internal transfer from cost centers to profit centers.
·Manages the inventory related follow-ups for branch creation or branch closures.
·Participates in special projects related to inventory.
·Reviews and follows up on companywide product line for any initiatives or to identify issues.
·Reviews and follows up on companywide Cross Dock & Hub structure set up and its maintenance.
·Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary

Up to 85K + Bonus

Qualification

Essential Qualifications
·Advanced knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; and PowerPoint. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and professional journals.
·Specifically requires strong skills in data analysis and tool development utilizing SQL and Excel VBA.

Required Education and Experience
·Five plus years of experience in a related field
·Bachelor's degree required
