Job Description

Collaborate with application engineers to determine infrastructure specifications which include requirements definition and outline infra design. For more detail, determine the functional and non-functional requirements to be met, and propose the implementation method to achieve them. Design, implement, and maintain server, storage, network, and security infrastructure in AWS based systems. Design and implement automation for AWS platforms as well as monitoring and alerting purposes. You will be part of and collaborate with an infrastructure team consisting of US local and offshore members. You will also have the opportunity to explain the infrastructure specifications you have determined to other infrastructure members and have them design and implement them. In this case, you will support the infrastructure team in task promotion and issue resolution. Participate in regular meetings with NRI Japan application engineers to report on progress and issues. Additional duties as assigned.
