Job Description

・Process routine HR tasks (hiring, terminations, benefits, vacation accruals, leaves, etc.). ・Handle payroll processing, including verification of timecards (OT, VAC, Sick), data entry for external payroll runs and meeting strict deadlines. ・Handle Workers Compensation matters. ・In cooperation with Branch management, implement and monitor safety and compliance programs relating to facility machinery and equipment, as well as OSHA and DOT requirements. ・Oversee fleet administration, including driver logs, accident reporting and follow up, gas card management, E-Z pass processing, etc. ・Maintain office equipment and oversee building maintenance. ・Handle business license/permit applications and on-going administration. ・Verify accuracy of invoices. ・Regularly update the office schedule board. ・Prepare reports as needed, such as DQ, mileage, accounting, etc. ・Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information as appropriate. ・Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. ・Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities. ・Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers. ・Maintain and update filing, mailing, and database systems. ・Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer routine correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail. ・Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests. ・Deliver messages and run errands as needed. ・Support on-going sales activities as appropriate. ・Light maintenance duties. ・Provide back up support for other administrative functions (cross-training).
