Job Description

【Position】
Mechanical Engineer

【Summary】
has a position open for a Mechanical Engineer at our Georgetown, KY
location. The chosen engineer will provide technical application support in the project development
stage and oversee project installation at the end user facilities.

【Essential Duties】
• Assess customer needs and provide feedback to management in order to determine the
capability of the company to provide effective products, equipment, services, training and
aftercare to the customer.
• Support customer needs and calculate costs to provide project development through cost,
time and manpower needs
• Assist with manufacturers’’ training for customer on technical data and operating
procedures
• Follow-up with customers to assure equipment, products, and/or services are effectively
meeting the customers needs
• Install end products for the customer, supervise contractors or contract laborers as required
to create an operating system.
o Be able to read layout and equipment drawings
o Assist the Sr. Engineer/Project Manager to collect project and technical information
to make bid package
o Record, analyze, and summarize project costs under the project manager’s
supervision
o On-site management of project under the project manager's supervision
o Check and confirm all floor layouts match prints/drawings
o Confirm installation specifications are according to bid documents
o Coordinate all technical issues between contractors, ITS and customer
o Coordinate customer-required and contractor meetings to assure continuity of
efforts and communicate status and concerns

• Maintain continuing contact with Japanese parent companies and multinational suppliers to
assure all incoming products or equipment are on schedule. Guide and oversee continuity
of the transfer of goods for the customer

【Working Hours, Working style】
Monday to Friday (Fully On-Site)

【Salary, Benefit】
55-70k　 max salary is only considered for those with 2+ years of hands-on experience with degree.

【Qualifications】
• College degree of equivalent work experience
• Knowledgeable in all aspects of the equipment, installation, use, service and training
required to provide customer with quality end product
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects/operations
• Knowledge in the production and installation of robotic, conveyance and manual welding
equipment, machining and assembly equipment, press and test bench products.
• Japanese language ability a plus.
