Job Description

・Bridge the gap between US and Japan (HQ) for implementing US only functionalities to the various newly developed vehicles. ・Communicate and negotiate with HQ as the NA side product owner or project manager. ・Responsible for RFI/RFQ, prototyping, spec writing, roadmap definition. ・Lead audit material preparation and reporting activities for functional area. ・Report impediments and/or enhancement opportunities to Toyota management. ・Complete project objectives in time to meet vehicle and other milestones in alignment with product launch or other relevant cycles. ・Support both product owner and scrum master in Agile ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, sprint refinement and sprint demo. ・SME (Subject Matter Expert) Telematics or Connected Technologies. ・Participate in after hour support meetings as required. ・Hybrid work environment. Occasional onsite work would be requested.

100 - 120K DOE

Qualifications and Experience:

・Minimum 5 years of experience in spec development of head unit systems, preferably (related but not limited to) Telematics or Connected ・Japanese language skill including deep understanding of Japanese business culture ・At least 3years Product Owner/Project lead experiences. ・Automotive industry working experience is highly preferred ・Education qualification: Bachelor’s degree
