Job Description

Position
Accountant​​​​​​​

Summary
​​​​​​​This position is responsible for compiling, recording, verifying and maintaining data and payments related to
accounts payable and receivable, cash account. The job duties also include providing administrative support.

Essential Duties​​​​​​​

Accounting
 Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to
ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
 Audits invoices against purchase orders and researches discrepancies.
 Communicates and investigates problems with vendors or customers.
 Computes and records charges, refunds, and similar items.
 Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, wire transfers, credit & debit memos, account statements, reports, and
other records, and reviews for accuracy.
 Prepares bank reconciliations.
 Prepares journal entries for cash transactions.
 Applies cash to accounts receivable and constantly monitors aging balances.
 Review and processes expense reports.
 Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date.
 Communicates with customers in regards to short or over payments and delinquent accounts.
 Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and
services.
 Prepares monthly sales, receivable related reports for senior management.
 Confirms items, prices and freight costs of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading,
invoices, orders, or other records; posts invoices to inventory sub-ledger.
 Reviews requests of parts registration from account management department and input the parts information in
the system.

Administrative Support
 Assists with answering and transferring telephone calls as necessary.
 Periodically prepares various administrative reports for management.
 Provides assistance for sales teams and management, as requested.
 Maintains fixed asset records.

Other & Miscellaneous
 Seeks continuous improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
 Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by senior management.
 Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
 Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
 Maintains good communication with other managers, staff & outside contacts.
 Complies with all company policies and procedures.
 Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Working Hours, Working style
40hr a week Flex 
Core time 10am to 3pm 
Hybrid 2~3day remote work form home.

Qualifications
​​​​​ Education & Work Experience
 Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from four-year college or university;
 Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.

Tools & Equipment
 General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, scanner, postage machine, phone system, personal
computer, etc.
 Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office applications and GP Dynamics.
