Summary

Essential Duties

• Data Collection & Organization – Gather internal metrics and external industry data; maintain dashboards and reports.
• Basic Analytics – Analyze revenue, cost, and KPI trends to highlight issues and improvement areas.
• Market & Competitor Research – Monitor emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, and potential partners.
• Deck & Memo Preparation – Draft and update management presentations and briefing notes.
• Project Support – Track progress, schedule meetings, and prepare minutes for cross-functional strategic projects.
• Performance Tracking – Produce monthly reports comparing organizational results to targets.
• Process-Improvement Assistance – Conduct interviews and implement small-scale process enhancements.
• Ad-hoc Tasks – Tackle special assignments from the Strategic Planning Manager, benchmark studies, and training material preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., strategic planning, business analysis, or financial analysis)
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics industry is a plus
• Experience supporting teams or projects preferred
• Exposure to M&A or shared services environments is a plus
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and setting priorities
