【Position】    
Business Development Representative

【Summary】
A Japanese transportation company is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join their business development team.  The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the 3PL/4PL supply chain/logistics analysis/consulting/sales. As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities.

【Essential Duties 】
•    Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives
•    Analyze/design/consult customer’s supply chain/logistics to identify business opportunities 
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying and closing deals
•    Develop accounts for additional business opportunities
•    Collaborate with other departments, to ensure a seamless customer service
•    Prepare sales material for potential customers
•    Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis
•    Proven sales track record
•    Other Duties as assigned

【Working Hours】
M-F 9am - 5pm

【Working Location】
Any location in office (Plano, TX/ Buford, GA/ Arlington Heights, IL/ Long Beach, CA/ New York, NY) or remote

【Qualifications】
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management, logistics or relevant fields
•    5-7 years of experience in 3PL/4PL supply chain/logistics sales
•    Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets
•    Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements
•    Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
•    Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service
•    Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities under tight deadlines
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•    Japanese speaking preferable
