【Position】

 Full Stack Java Developer

【Essential Duties】

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop high-quality, efficient, and reusable Java code according to specifications.
• Design and develop server-side applications using Java and REST APIs.
• Analyze user requirements to inform application design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop software solutions.
• Assist with debugging and resolving software defects and issues.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, system testing, and continuous integration.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases.
• Write advanced SQL queries and perform database optimization.

【Qualifications】

​​​​​​​WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-stack Java web developer.
• Proven experience with web frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services, JDBC, SQL, and database technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and extensive experience with advanced SQL.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in software development methodologies, standards, and tools (JIRA, Git, etc.).
• Additional experience with File/Data Exchange a plus

Other than standard guidelines, procedures and assignments, little direction may be given.  The candidate must be able to manage his/her time and assignments.  Thoroughness in completing tasks on time with high quality is imperative.  Information Security is a priority and the enforcement and adherence to corporate security policy is critical.
The candidate will interact with the business division, receive instructions, support projects and share status information, but will also be in contact with other Toyota groups to coordinate changes and obtain requirements.
