Assistant Vice President

【Summary】

Ensure the successful sale of the company’ｓ products. Conserve and enhance existing business through effective account management. Cultivate and maintain good relationships with Japanese accounts and brokers. • Achieve sales goals with new business and cross sell • Maintain good relationship with management of Japanese accounts

【Essential Duties 】

Marketing and Retention - Achieve sales goals with new business and cross sell - Maintain good relationship with management of Japanese accounts - Participate actively in renewal process for important Japanese accounts - Participate in client and broker meetings as required Broker/Consultant and Partner Co. Relationships - Cultivate broker and consultant relationships - Familiarize brokers/consultants with NLB products and services Product/Marketing Enhancement - Research issues for the development of strategic marketing proposals - Provide marketing planning with competitive industry data as requested Team Building - Assist Japan Desk Head and Regional Group Sales Director to develop comfortable work environment in the regional office

【Qualifications】

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience - Experience in the U.S. insurance industry a plus (3+ years working with brokers, health insurance carriers, etc. preferred) - Life/Health insurance license in assigned state(s) or ability to obtain one within 90 days from start of employment - Fluency in both English and Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) - Prior experience with Japanese culture and customs a plus (3+ years working with a Japanese company preferred) - Valid US driver’s license
