Position
Accounting Clerk

Summary
An Accounting Clerks is responsible for processing AP and AR transactions, Simple Journal entry,
and preparing related documents in Excel.
Also responsible for entering data into subsystems as directed by the Manager.

Essential Duties
• Using ERP, entry AR invoice and AP bill to ERP.
• Processing payments to utilities and vendors to pay for supplies, materials and other expenses.
• Initiating direct deposits to pay employees.
• Fixed asset management / depreciation calculation.
• Identifying and correcting any errors that occur due to data entry.
• Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks.
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Review employees’ biweekly timecard for payroll calculation.

Qualifications
​​​​​​​• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of accounting clerk experience.
• Working knowledge of benefits and compensation programs.
• Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to deadlines.

【Preferred Qualifications】
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge and working experience with ERP.
• Experience of BI tool is plus.
• Business level speaking and writing skill in Japanese is plus.
• Background working in Japanese Company is plus.
