Food Hall, Director

Summary
An amusement store chain is seeking a Director for Hood Hall. The Director will oversee all food hall operations, including stores and the central kitchen, while driving strategic initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring alignment with company goals. This role also involves collaborating with the Japan Branch to develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and improve performance.

Essential Duties
1. Food Hall Operation Management:
 • Oversee operations of multiple units in a food hall with 10-15 stores, ensuring smooth functioning across all locations.
 • Manage and standardize menu offerings based on recipes from Japan.
 • Improve service and product quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
 
2. Central Kitchen Management:
 • Manage central kitchen operations and establish an efficient preparation and delivery process.
 •Ensure food safety per HACCP standards and implement risk management measures, aiming for ISO 22000:2018 certification.
• Improve efficiency in food ordering, inventory management, and production planning based on demand forecasts, preventing overstock and shortages.

3. Team Management:
 • Manage, train, and coordinate shifts for employees, including food managers, kitchen staff, store staff, and logistics staff.
 • Recruit, train, and assign staff to standardize operations.

 4. Financial Management and Budget Control:
 • Implement a strategic approach to budget planning, expense control, and profit maximization for the Food Hall and Central Kitchen.

 5. Cooperation with the Japan Branch:
 • Regularly communicate with the Japan Branch to update the U.S. stores operation.

$108K~112K (bonus included)

Qualifications
​​​​​​• 10+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry
• 5-10 years of management experience
• Japanese-English bilingual (business level)
• Experience in developing new businesses is a plus
